Text Banking is a secure and easy way to check account balances without having to call the Credit Union or log in with a username and password to Online Banking or the BlueOx Mobile App. Text messages will never contain confidential information about you or your accounts and messages will never contain full account numbers. Getting set up for Text Banking is easy! You can enroll as many mobile phones as you wish. If you have more than one membership at the Credit Union, the nickname you define during enrollment will help you tell them apart.

Tip: Once you enroll for Text Banking, you can also set up your eAlert subscriptions to be sent as text messages directly to your mobile phones (eAlerts are automatically sent to all phones enrolled in Text Banking).

  1. Log in to Online Banking on your computer.
  2. Under the "Member Services" tab, click "Text Banking."
  3. Select “Start Enrollment.”
  4. Enter a short membership nickname.
  5. Read and accept Terms and Conditions.
  6. Assign a fee account and accept Text Banking Fee schedule (please note that Text Banking is a free service).
  7. Select Enroll.
  8. At the next screen select “Add a New Number.” You will then need to confirm the phone number by entering a verification code to complete enrollment.

  1. Download the latest version of the BlueOx Mobile App from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Log in to the BlueOx Mobile App.
  3. Tap "More" from the bottom navigation bar.
  4. Tap "Text Banking" and tap "Start Enrollment."
  5. Enter a short membership nickname.
  6. Read and accept Terms and Conditions.
  7. Assign a fee account and accept Text Banking Fee schedule (please note that Text Banking is a free service).
  8. Tap “Enroll.”

Text Banking messages from BlueOx Credit Union are sent from the number 46247. If you receive text messages from any other number claiming to be BlueOx, please be cautious and contact us.
